What is INMA/IAB Norway?

INMA / IAB Norway is a non-profit trade organization with 123 members. Our administration has three full-time employees, and we engage more than 80 volunteers from different axes of the industry in our task forces.
INMA has recently joined the global network IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau).

INMA's primary objective is to be the spear point of expertise in interactive marketing, standardization and  the future development of Interactive marketing as an industry, hence to promote effective utilization of these channels. 

What is the role of INMA / IAB Norway?

We are working actively with research, PR, standardization, and guidelines for better use of Interactive advertising and INMA / IAB Norway's contribution ensures that advertisers and media businesses better understand the importance of including interactive advertising in their marketing strategy. 

Important measures to achieve INMA / IAB Norway's primary objective is the development of advertising standards, standard measuring metrics, creative contests, events, and standardization of ad formats.
The most important member benefit is the possibility to affect change. All members have the opportunity to participate in the governance of the industry's development of interactive marketing through our 14 workshops:

INMA / IAB Norway should be the primary source of expertise and information about interactive marketing, and we encourage our members to use us as sparring partners. 

  • INMA / IAB Norway will work actively to increase the understanding and knowledge of interactive marketing
  • INMA/ IAB Norway will contribute to the increased professionalization and knowledge through education, conferences and seminars in the various areas of interactive marketing
  • INMA / IAB Norway shall work for the development of common terminology, standardized effect measurements, ad formats, billing, trends, traffic measurements etc.
  • In addition to standardizing and improving tools used in the ongoing measurements of the Internet in Norway, INMA/ IAB Norway, in cooperation with MBL, are responsible for the official statistics for Internet advertising in Norway
  • INMA / IAB Norway provide national and international research material and statistics for its members
  • INMA / IAB Norway offers its members courses and seminars at greatly reduced prices
